The information and communication technology (ICT) is crucial to telehealth. Telehealth activities, e.g. telephone or video conversation, rely on infrastructure such as equipment, devices, and mobile medical apps. Electronic health information systems support the capture, storage and transmission of healthcare information and data. There are multiple, and often fragmented standards and guidelines for manufacturers with regard to the safety, continuity, dependability, usability and effectiveness of the technology. Manufacturers must apply the standards and guidelines, although these have not always been well aligned. A purpose of this website is to help manufacturers to have overview of guidelines and grip on their processes.
